Plenty of time left for planting

There is still a lot of summer left. There are still plenty of hostas to choose from – all sizes, all colors and various shapes. A hosta for any situation! There are still a few Empress Wu hostas left, but they won’t last for long. Get your hostas in now and they’ll have plenty of time to lay down roots and make it through our long Minnesota winters.

New varieties coming soon

Autunmn Forst Hosta

Some of the new varieties of hostas coming in are: Autumn Frost, shown at left, Revolution, Cameo, and Independence.

Also available are Blackjack, Frosted Mouse Ears, Ivory Coast, Linda Sue, Waving Winds.

Coming this week are Champagne Toast, Devil’s Advocate, Katie Q, Fragrant Blue, Wylde Green Cream. Lots of old varieties are still available include Earth Angel, Empress Wu, Split Milk and Razor’s Edge.


Some of last year’s hostas are just starting to show themselves. Call and ask for availability.

We will be set up at the Crosslake Flea Market on July 3rd.  Through the rest of the holiday weekend we are open by appointment only.  Please call before driving over.
