Sun would be good

Despite all of the dreary days, the hostas are looking good.  Some sun would be nice and would no doubt spur them along.  But many of the hostas are ready and looking for new homes.

Looking good!

A few hostas were brought inside a few weeks ago just to give them a head start. Here is a photo of Minuteman hosta.

Most of the potted hostas are up and running. However, there are only a few hostas in the display beds that are growing. Maybe with the rain we had today it will encourage some growth.

First Batch of Hostas Came in Today

Some of our hostas are out in the yard and up and starting to look great. However, we do order hostas from nurseries across the country. Here is a photo of the first tray of hostas that came in this afternoon. This time of year when the UPS truck rolls in it is always exciting!
